2026 TFAA Scholarship Application Now Available

Texas Field Archery Association is proud to be able to offer scholarships to deserving young men and women who have represented our sport and their communities in a positive manner.  We are honored to be able to give back to the youth that have grown our sport.
The application window is November 1st to January 31st each year.

NFAA Announces new Shooting Styles and other rule changes

There are some rule changes coming from the NFAA which are effective January 1, 2026.

Since the Indoor SYWAT season is starting very soon, the TFAA will implement the changes below until the official rules are released by the NFAA:

  • "Barebow" will now be "Barebow Compound"
  • The Longbow class rules will be revised

  • A new class "Modern Bowhunter Freestyle" will be added.

    This style IS available for the upcoming SYWAT tournaments.
