2010 Southern Sectionals - Waco, Texas
The Southern Sectional Outdoor Championship rotates year to year
from the different states in our NFAA Section. This year it comes home to Texas
and will be hosted by the Huaco Bowmen. The format for this event is 28-field on Saturday,
then 14-Hunter and 14-Animal on Sunday. Please join us in Waco, June 12-13, 2010.

Ready for Field Archery?
Ever wondered where the "Field" came from in Texas Field Archery Association? Well wonder no more.
Join us this season for some Field SYWAT events and see what makes a field round so challenging
that only a few can still do it. It's harder than it looks and it's not for the casual archer.
You need to be a dedicated archer (and maybe a little wild) to shoot the NFAA field round. Come see what
you've been missing. Come shoot with us!

2010 Indoor Southern Sectional
The 2010 (multi-site) Indoor Southern Sectional is in the books with 166 entries. For those who
may not know, Texas is part of the NFAA Southern Section, including the states of Arkansas, Louisiana,
Mississippi and Oklahoma. Each year there are Sectional Indoor and Outdoor events, to determine
Sectional Champions for each venue. Congratulations to the newest winners, especially those from
Texas!!! Join us June 12-13, 2010 in Waco, Texas, for the Southern Sectional Field Championship.

2010 Indoor State Championship
Congratulations to all the shops and competitors who participated in the 2010 Indoor SYWAT
and State Indoor Championships. We had 187 competitors fighting for titles and those coveted
belt buckles. That marks the end of indoor season for the TFAA. Please join us in November 2010,
for the start of the Indoor SYWAT 2011 season.

2010 Texas Gander Archery Open
302 entries for the 5th Gander Mountain Texas Archery Open. Great turnout!!! Results are OFFICIAL.
Thanks to all those who participated. If this was your first tournament with the TFAA we hope you enjoyed it.
Awards for this event should be available around the 25th of January at the location where you posted
your score. Check out our schedule for more events like Gander Mountain coming up. If you really
like our game consider shooting our State Tournament, February 27-28, 2009, in Temple, Texas.

WELCOME!!
Thanks for stopping by to check out our website. This is the place where you
can find out about the latest events going on in the TFAA. Primarily this site is used
to list our shoot schedule, results, records, Hall of Fame members and Board contact information.
It's still a work in progress but it's the best way to keep up with TFAA events.
I would like to invite you to join us in one of our many shoots. The TFAA is a
shooting organization. We sponsor Indoor Rounds, Field Rounds, American Rounds,
and 3-D Rounds. I am sure if you check us out you will enjoy our tournaments. If you do
we would love to have you as a member.
